@AngryLoo and also engineering, a low-end pc can even play with beautiful settings without sacrificing the visual. Don't forget it was release in 2004! Way ahead during it's time.

i agree with this... what? i agree with ign? o.0 wierd
anyway yeah, hl2 was a very satisfying play through, and i was upset when i finished it, but then orange box came along! and i got episodes 1 and 2 to do as well!
i just wish episode 3/hl3 would come out, it's embarrasing when there is a new counter strike game being made, and not a new hl game, since cs games are essentially just a of the current hl engine

Half-Life 2 is without a doubt one of the greatest games ever made. It's such an eerily beautiful, disturbing, heart-rending masterpiece.
