ROB the Robot reviews the unusual RPG called Faxanadu. Daggers and wingboots; this sounds like some crazy shit!

  • Released on November 17th. Just so happened that's when I watched it. This game was amazing, one of the most nostalgic games from my childhood. Very underrated.

  • @ IsThisSumBattleToads:

Awesome! Yeah, I agree with you:-)

  • Another great review, Rob!

  • @ tvandlust:

    Thanks man! :-)

  • This is another awesome review! Very hilarious! I need to get this game definitely!

Ever played "Legacy of The Wizard" on NES? I believe that was also a sequel to Faxanadu.

    Thanks man!

And no, I've not played Legacy of The Wizard. But I just looked it up and it looks like a good game. I'll need to get it one day.

  • Ugh I wish they took out those hopping eye on giant leg enemies I hated those things

  • This game does look pretty good. The password system is ridiculous though. Great review here, subscribed!

  • @8BitROB hey, ROB, where do you get your voice program for your robot? what website? if not, what store? how do you get it? please tell me.

  • i love this game. one of my all time favs. almost a cult classic

  • ITS HARD NOT TO SMILE WHEN YOU HEAR THAT VOICE COME OUT OF THAT LITTLE ROBOT

  • I played Faxanadu for a while about 7 years ago, but I got stumped at a certain part and never continued. It was fun until that happened.

  • Dwarves are NOT to be trusted...

  • 'The dwarfs are already in town'....definitely some dwarf hating going on there, and not a subject we are very happy to discuss these days. Shame the game doesn't build on the the excellent first level (isometric scroller) but turns into an RPG. However I do agree about the music and colours adding up to an atmospheric game. I wonder how many games Chuck Norris appeared in. After Chuckie egg, and Bruce Leigh.

  • I never got that far in the game, only until the second township. And I never bothered with the passwords.

Unless an RPG has a save feature, it is not worth much bother.

  • lol chuck norris
