This just can't be right. I've waited eight long years to find out the ending to this dreadful series. EIGHT! EVEN THOUGH I ONLY GOT TO THE SECOND OR THIRD EPISODE BACK THEN! This is how they defeated the wipers? A projector?

Quick followup thought--the whole time I was watching, I couldn't help but think of how different things are now, how would this movie be written today? Our entire library science system is different. They should make a new one--if aliens came along now and took away our electronic communications abilities, we'd be crushed! I think it would take more than a hologram to save us, no?

I'll go ahead and echo most of the thanks here. I watched the beginning of this at some point in elementary school--over 20 years ago, and couldn't remember anything but the haunting music and that some people were running from the aliens. Our class never finished it.

Thanks for posting this, it's nice to see the end. Yes, the writing is stilted but come on--it's an educational movie meant to teach 1980s cutting edge library science. In that regard, they made a pretty darn catchy film.

I'm like everyone else..thank you for posting the show. I came across it while looking for another mid 80s PBS show, Read All About It. The last time I saw Tomes and Talismans ws when I was in 10th grade-man..I am truly old *lol*
