I believe this song is one of the few that captures the essence of The Doctor. I debated for awhile about whether I should use the NIN or the Johnny Cash version, but in the end I decided that Cash's version had the poignancy I was looking for. I still love both versions, however.

Not just Journey's end. That is why the Doctor has so many companions. He is afraid to commit to one for one lifetime. The only companion that sticks around him the most was K-9, although Romana was a good candidate. I am wondering, Romana doesn't seem the type that would have gotten in the time war. So is she there, and what of his daughter, susan?

as a fellow filmmaker, I must applaude you. both in using my favorite show and my fav J.R. Cash cover song, but also in keeping to the love rose and the doctor had, that said, i would have used give my love to rose... but I loved it still.

pretty gud, i wish i had doctor who episodes, but i dont hav the disk space, i no u wont hav the footage, so its not ur fualt, but it would be perfect with other docs an timelords, as well as the new series as it would emphasize the losss more, gud work though

Thank you! It does remind me quite a bit of Journey's End, as well. I really feel bad for the Doctor...he seems to always get the short end of the stick. Poor guy. :(
