Good job, this can also be done through the registry, but you are a very wise young man.

This worked great even two years after it was uploaded. Some of the buttons have changed on Chrome so you may have to look around a bit. Thanks for helping me figure out this problem.

I would like to post an update to this video right now. Times have changed guys, this video was made over a year ago.
I am sure it still works, but I am also pretty sure Google now offers THEIR themes with transparency.

IS there a way to do this in XP? Im pretty sure there is not but im just wondering if some one possibly found a way... thanks.

No, unless there was transparency before the theme was applied there is no way.@TheFiscster510

I wish there were a way to make the ENTIRE Chrome toolbar transparent, and not just the window bar/border, or whatever it's called. IS THERE A WAY?

@sheenfood That would be epic, while it is possible. I am pretty sure you would be looking at hacking chrome. Firefox has an areo theme.
