I've grown accustomed to the willow tree,
and even then how it's gone.
Monsoon season's comin';
I think I'll blow away and be gone.

Sweet sweet Honey Bear,
I miss your lips and what they'd say.
I'm not a religious man,
but I know how to pray.

Thought of goin' to Texas,
put some kindling on the fire.

I'll give you wholesome hallelujah,
is that what you want to hear?
put my whetstone on the ax blade;
put my face deep in the mirror

I don't care what they say;
Woodsman say direct yourself.
And I coulda shoulda woulda,
now I'm by myself.

Can solve a single problem:
two minus one equals lost.
Keep it real, Simple Baby;
you play Emily, I'll play Mr. Frost

Got some lumber in the basement;
if you want, I'll take you down to C.
There's blood in the blender;
better cross your eyes and tease.

Somethin' isn't right here,
I feel the tree house shake.
