  • hot pan, hot fat. hot food chef! to saute you should always heat the pan first than the fat than the food, now i spose if you didnt want to burn that butter it would make a bit of sence. also why didnt you use chicken stock insted of water.... try it next time

  • I've never seen any directions in my rice package to ever wash the rice when making rice at all. Anyway ChefSHAMY if I don't have a rice cooker can I get the same results doing this on the stovetop? How much wild rice and pasta did you add along with the cup of rice?
