hot pan, hot fat. hot food chef! to saute you should always heat the pan first than the fat than the food, now i spose if you didnt want to burn that butter it would make a bit of sence. also why didnt you use chicken stock insted of water.... try it next time
I've never seen any directions in my rice package to ever wash the rice when making rice at all. Anyway ChefSHAMY if I don't have a rice cooker can I get the same results doing this on the stovetop? How much wild rice and pasta did you add along with the cup of rice?
