OK --so here's the story.
Rory just quit with Dean because she realised that she loves Jess. So she sends him a message which he receives and as a result they meet and kiss.
It seems like the beginning of a great relationship, but there's something strange with Jess. He often has to leave quickly and Rory gets her doubts about Jess' feelings --so she asks him directly if he belongs to her. Jess doesn't answer but kisses Rory.
Next thing to happen is Rory sitting at Luke's with her mom, watching Jess kissing Shane. A furious Lorelei, who didn't much like the idea of her daughter going out with Luke's unreliable nephew anyway, asks Rory what she's going to do about this now.
Confused and hurt Rory runs of to the one person who has always been there for her without a question. As Jess appears to see Dean as Rory's comforter he tells Rory quietly that she can forget about him and leaves. Rory, even though she really hates it, can't contradict still having feelings for Jess and as she comes home that night she calls him and explains why she needed to see Dean. Jess tells her that he understands and again Rory asks him: 'Do you belong to me?'
Jess answer makes Rory smile, but as soon as she and her mom walk the street the next day they see Jess with Shane again. Another angry Lore asking Rory if this is what she wants.
But Jess is still confused himself. He likes Shane but he catches himself thinking bout Rory all the time and seeking her company whenever he can.
Another déjà vu -- Rory gets comforted by Dean one more time and as he too asks her what she's intending to do about it, she makes her decision. Jess tricked her one time to often. As she runs into him, holding Shane in his arm she tells him that it is over for good. One last sad look from her and she's gone.
Abruptly Jess realises that Shane isn't the one he is going to run to and he breaks up with her that instant. He runs after Rory and begs for one more chance. But Rory's answer is clear this time. The next weeks faith seems to lead Rory and Jess' ways together all the time.
Jess tries to talk sense into her whenever they meet. The third NO from Rory is enough even for Jess and now he is leaving. Guess who is running after him?
This time it has to be cleared from the start: Does she truly love him?
The song is from 'Alannah Myles' and called 'Who loves you'
