such a shame. i'll never understand how the Met knew he was in trouble and didn't jump in and let him sing smaller parts and allow him to make a living? he was a good artist and had something to contribute even when he wasn't able to sing the big parts. very sad. RIP Jerry...

his voice sounds very natural, not a pumped-up aritificial tenor. but anyway he has great technique, which can be heard in the faster parts
