Like him or hate him, Kevin Steven's was awesome back in the 90's and one of my favourite childhood players. He may be a tough and nasty SOB (as shown in the video), but that was just how you got under peoples skin. I met him in the press box in Ottawa in 97 when he was scratched and he was probably the nicest NHLer I've ever met. Took the time to sit down and chat about if I played hockey, what position, my favourite player, etc. He could have signed an autograph but he went above and beyond.
