Magnetops are wooden tops laser cut into a pinwheel design. Each top has a magnetic spinning tip and includes a metal shape. When you spin the top on a flat surface and slide the steel shape next to it, the magnetic tip will stick to the shape. Because the top is spinning, the shape will move around the spinning tip. Diameter = 3 1/8 inches (80 mm), Height= 1 3/4 inches (45 mm).

I no longer have a website, but I have plenty of these tops. They're $5 each. If you're interested, let me know. I can accept paypal payments directly or set up a buy it now auction on ebay for you.

  • could you make the tip sharp so it cuts out paper in those shapes ????

  • @magazowski Well, I didn't make this top and don't have the tools necessary, so I can't. But, I imagine to get that to work, you'd need to somehow secure the metal shape to the paper before spinning the top because the top goes around the shape and at the same time the metal shape goes around the top.

  • @ledomira Would it be possible to use magnetics to keep this continiously spinning?

  • @PyreManiacz No, the only part that is magnetic is the tip. The rest of it is wood. However, there is a top that can do that. Youtube won't let me add links, but I'll send you a message with the link.

  • Even though my website went out of business, the lack of comments hasn't affected how many people have sent messages directly to me wanting to buy them.

I've been thinking of making one video to replace all the individual videos with my entire top collection. Then if someone is interested in a specific top, they can reference the minute:second mark and I can tell them where I got it.
