i had the chance between e-drums or none at all!!...so what would you do if you'd have to make a decision like that?!?^^

yeah but what about neighbours? i cant imagine how so many people can practise that much, famous drummers today and stuff they never say about having trouble with neighbours- i did loads and now i play an electric kit most of the time, but its great cuz i can practise waaay more than with an acoustic cuz i dont have to worry about neighbours. i just wish yamaha or roland would make an electric kit with regular sizes

Actually, it's the Roland V-Drums. While it's true that you can make an electronic kit "sound" like a real drum kit, you can never make it "feel" like a real drum kit. These come the closest though!
