I bought this psp from my friend for $5.00 because he punched it after getting mad at a game and broke the LCD screen and cracked the outer shell. So I Bought all the parts I needed including a clear full replacement shell and a Sharp LCD screen to fix the PSP. Fixing this PSP was a lot of fun and if you come across a broken PSP you should fix it too because I have seen a lot of videos of people destroying a PSP just because something that is easily fixed is wrong with it.

Your friend is a retard. He left his memory stick inside and didn't charge you anything for it. Then again, he was retarded to punch and brick his psp in the first place.

That is not good news to hear. you could try rigging something up with electrical tape and maybe a paper clip or something to maybe force a connection but I'm afraid to say the board maybe shot all together maybe if you found a new clip you could unsolder the old one and resolder the new one in.

No problem instead of a paper clip you could possibly trim down a plastic zip tie to the relative size of the old clip and secure it with some electrical tape or duct tape but im hoping this crates enough pressure to make a connection.
