  • never ever so sweet melody. so much with emotions.

  • each time I hear this , I feel so blessed and moved , I worship thy master..

  • wow, his jhintjhoti has such a different mood and feel. he is an absolute genius. also ppl bringing Ravi Shankar into picture have imho no idea about music. among the so called greats of the earlier era, Nikhil da, Vilayat khan sahib, Jaffer khan sahib and RS, the first three were far far above RS in almost every aspect of music.

  • Too True.... Annapurna is THE one.... isn't Hariji lucky to have been a student.... both these artists are major Idols for me.....Ustad Shaik Dawood is so deep as is Ut. Jaffer Khan, deep like Ustad Bismillah Khan... this is a precious posting... many thanks.

  • I love them. Late Ustad Shaik Dawood was such an amazing tabla player. thx for sharing this

  • Fecalfoetus : I personally find Ravi Shankar to have bags of soul! But each to his own opinion, I guess . . .

  • this is too astounding for mere words, one of the most lethal and original sitar and tabla together in my opinion, i never tire of this, oh why do people have to mentino Ravi shankar here? is it just me who find RS totally souless (he may be technically good i suppose)his first wife has more talent in the nail of her little finger than RS head to toe

  • A true maestro and innovator.

  • He is very close to my Guru and I was honored to have a rare interview with this legend from whom there is a lot to learn besides just music and Ragdari. Thanks for the videos. Hope to have more.

  • Living legend Khansaheb Abdul Halim Jaffer Khan is a rare maestro with rare qualities, a living legend with a great sense of humor, humility, magnanimity and who is truly God-conscious and who upholds genuinely humane values. He is a contemporary of the likes of Ravi Shakarji and Vilayat Khansaheb
