Unlike the African savannah, the Indian forest is an 'introvert' - shy, secretive, unyielding... almost protective of its denizens! You can spend a whole day and not see anything. Yet the wildlife could be all around you (like the Hog Deer and Indian Bison or Gaur that you almost don't see, in this film!). Every sighting in an Indian forest is a very personal discovery... more satisfying to the soul.

I tell people that safaris are so much more than the Big 5; the smaller animals, birds, landscapes, are equally beautiful. You obviously know that!     Some animals that I saw as the goose and squirrel and some birds we have them too here in Holland, but elephants not hihi.
