Shiva, the Supreme Universal Being, makes the impossible possible and the possible impossible

Swami Lakshmanjoo reveals Abhinavagupta's Paramarthasara and explains how, in manifesting this diverse limited existence in which we find ourselves, Shiva makes the impossible possible. By the absolute independent freedom (svatantrya) of maya shakti (the energy of illusion) of Shiva 'what is' becomes 'is not' and 'what is not' becomes 'is'. It is not possible for God to become the limited individual and for the limited individual to become God. This is the conduct of the absolute independent freedom (svatantrya) of maya shakti (the energy of illusion) of Shiva wherein though God is everywhere you cannot find him anywhere.
