This is not so much a "leg change" as a "leg shuffle".

@YodaTheName That video is about the assumed hyper-aggression while a person which does lack hyper-aggressiveness will attempt to use minimal commitment to create openings if those aren't already existing. The probing of response will be done by an aggressive person to learn where those openings are along with possible videotaping of what does work, the strike with retreat along with striking with running past were not covered. The strike with counter striking does assume close combat mentality.

This guy is recommended by alot of street fight experts not for punks who wanna run around fighting but for people who are for serious self defense. This guy is not the biggest or strongest but i wouldnt wanna fight him.

I have read some negative stuff about mcneil on net so i was concerned about buying his videos so i rented them online from goldstarvideo and got them in this week. I am now a fan of james he produces a good product. I wish I would have bought them now, but money is a little tight

Using individuals of various heights in these techniques is actually kinda interesting. A lot of schools seem to neglect biomechanics against people much taller than oneself.

I wonder how this would do against another street fighting martial art: Kajukenbo?

i've seen ppl train with leg change stuff...but i think it looses stability everytime someone changes

well i could see that if the person stayed in any position for any more than a fraction of a sec. but since that never happens in this style it is not the case. then again you could just stand there and not move at all. that would not be a good idea for sure.
valid point though. i have seen others who change and i would agree. but not with this stuff it is just too fast and you are generally moving into the person or just slightly gettin out of the way when you do it.
cheers.

i've started splashing hands couple weeks back. its very different from what i know. but thats why am learning it. like the fast strikes. mcneils speed at 1.44 is ace! getting the jab punch combination together at the mo
