@sockergirl16 The Cyrillic letter "E" is pronounced "Ye" - so "Yelena" is correct, but often times it is spelled Elena because that's a more familiar name in English speaking countries.

@megapieluver He did stick the landing, it's a roll-out salto...you can't exactly stand up from a roll-out on a tramp LOL :D

Soflyers, at the time the Thomas salto was not banned for women. Shushunova and several others were competing it at the time of Mukhina's accident.

@xTheHWordx because elena mukhina died because of it. she was a russian gymnast and her coach made her do it even though it was only for men and this way she died when attempting to do this salto. :"(

men r real lucky to still have a thomas salto and u also did a great job on the thomas salto and u probaly could stick the landing next time or probaly u can do it now but keep it up

Yeah, I've done it on floor at gym so I was just trying to make it more realistic :)
