Rescue Haiti's Children: 110 Orphans and Earthquake Survivors Get a Party

The last four weeks have been heartache after heartache for the orphans of Haiti, but through it all the earthquake survivors of Haiti Christian Rescue Mission have been taught by Pastor Jean Fritz and his wife to trust in God and give Him thanks. So I wanted to come along side Pastor Fritz, by purchasing shoes for these barefoot orphans, and throwing a little "thanksgiving and praise to the Lord party" for the earthquake survivors.

Hamburger, Hotdogs and Cake are hard to come by in shattered Port Au Prince, but we found them all. And for the price of eight American businessman having a fancy meal at a restaurant back in the States, we were able to give real meat and a delicious desert to more than 110 orphans and 20 adults and staff.

It was a day of joy and brightness in a season filled with tragedies for these boys and girls. This video shows part of our adventure. To God be the Glory!
