  • Danny In My opinon was the Best tenor That the Cathedrals ever had

  • Amen Auke, Cathedrals had excellent tenors, I think Funderburk has to rank, in my opinion, as the top.

  • @chehsed the words are, but the love of my Saviour is so vast, yet oh so real

  • I had the pleasure of hearing Danny, Mark, Scott and Gerald doing a Remembering the Music- a Tribute to the Cathedrals last year. They were great!!

Danny is older (aren't we all) but he can still get up there. This is my favorite lead of his with the Cats. Great song and great singer, this is my favorite lineup of the Cathedrals too.

  • I just feel like I'm already in Heaven when these men sing! Perfect harmony! The best quartet ever!

  • This has to be one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

  • @greyandold Remember good old childhood hymns like "Gladly, The Cross-Eyed Bear"? Or "Bessy The Parachute"? How about "Love Lipton Tea"?

  • @moproducer My mum asked "what was your Sunday School lesson about today" I too was five. I replied, " we had a story about a witch." My mother was astonished and got in touch with the teacher. who replied the text had been " the son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost"

  • @chehsed Yes. She is correct.

  • My wife thinks he says, "Vast yet". Is she right?

  • Can somebody help me understand the lyrics in that one place in the song? Danny sings some word that sounds like "vastient", and then he sings "oh so real...". What is that word?
