David Nevue - Broken - LIVE

Pianist/composer David Nevue playing his arrangement of Broken" from his album, "Overcome".

David performed this piece on my Bohemia piano at an encore concert in my home in May of 2008. David had remarked that he almost did not include Broken in his album because he'd felt it might be perceived as too dark. Broken turned out to be one of his most popular songs released to radio!

I was so disappointed that the tape of this video from my HV20 had become compromised. Luckily I had used my old HandyCam as a backup and chose to upload this performance today -- Happy Birthday, David! :)

I love these David Nevue videos. Even the gleaming tree in the background goes perfectly with his sounds. I also own a Bohemia piano. I am biased but I think that the tone is truly the best brand for this kind of music. It is strong, clear and never harsh.

im new to david and playing all his videos here. i have started to learn solitude as i am new and the arrangement is simple (yet not easy if played wrong). david is simply amazing. my uncle, Larry Dalton, was a pianist who recently passed away. his passing and life inspired me to learn to play.
