A cheeky rendition of Rubenstein's 'Melody in F' - given the 'Atwellian' boogie treatment - raised up a tone and re-named 'Melody in G'. (Only our Winnie could get away with this!!). Released in September 1960.
The one and only Winifred "Winnie" Atwell with the melody that I had to practice when I learned to play the piano. Hm - it sounds very different to my way to play. I do like Winnie's better *g*. Much better!
@HaroldHanlon So that's what the 'G' stands for!
