Bloom Effect on Flight Simulator 2004 (Portland)

First test of the "Bloom effect mod" for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004. Recorded with Fraps, edited with Sony Vegas, uploaded in 720p. Scenery is payware Portland from FlightScenery, aircraft is payware Dreamfleet Piper.

Extract from Wikipedia : "Bloom (sometimes referred to as light bloom or glow) is a computer graphics effect used in computer games, demos and high dynamic range rendering (HDR) to reproduce an imaging artifact of real-world cameras. The effect produces fringes (or feathers) of light around very bright objects in an image."

Yep, on little on my PC (and with Fraps ON to record it obviously worst). It depends a lot of your configuration.

It didn't work on my laptop, FS2004 said that I need the DirectX9.0c, but I have it.

I am running it as an admin. what's odd about it is, it works in COD 4 and other games, but no FS.

if you right click on the FS9 Desktop icon and then "Run As Administrator" this might fix your problem if not then i dont no

man....it won't work for me... fs9 just crashes as soon as i double click the fs9.exe..... how did you get it to work...?
