@nunofyourfukinbusnes - Hello. I have to disagree. He LIKED Lily... he never EVER loved her the way she wanted him to love her. He never loved her at all!  He was trying to love her... and he was trying to be a good husband, but there PLENTY of episodes where he LONGED for Brenda while he and Lily were together. Did you watch this show while it aired?

@nunofyourfukinbusnes...You Lily lovers slay me. Brenda's bad behavior compared to Lily's is like an ant to an elephant. Brenda annoyed Sonny (I never really believed that...Sonny LOVED for Brenda to fight for him) but she never pulled strings behind his back to get him to be with her -she was always transparent. Lily is a manipulative, selfish witch. I Hate the writers made Sonny be so cruel to Brenda in front of that dishrag. Lily's "lack" of dignity is exceeded only by Sonny's self-deception.

@ 6:47 - I'm sick and tired of seeing Sonny act like he didn't care that brenda was probably stranded out in the snow. He knows he cared... and even if he loved Ms. Lily (haha! yea, right)... he should have still acted like he cared at LEAST a little bit. I mean, how does it look that he was in a deep relationship with her for a long time.. RIGHT before hooking up with Lily and now all of a sudden he doesn't care of her well-being. Yea, Sonny.... whatever.

Also I can understand Brenda's behaviour UNTIL Lily saved her life, after that I think it was classless to behave this way, speaking personally that is the line for me, I would not have crossed it. It's called dignity and Brenda needed lots when she was not with Sonny, that is why I loved her with Jax

Brenda is fun,beautiful, kind hearted, sexual,humorious exct. Sonny has never smiled with any woman the way he did with brenda.Sonny was weak when it came to brenda he didn't like that.his biggest fear was her dying because of him,that's why he left her.

Brenda would have delt with anything that came with Sonny's life she said so many times. Sonny was the one to walk out on her because he was still feling guilty about Lily's death . Carly didn't let Sonny push her away she knew he felt the same about her and didn't pull any punches. It doesn't matter why Sonny loved Carly he loved her. I've heard many poeple say he loved Brenda because she was innocent and he had just broken up with Karen but it doesn't matter he loved Brenda and thats that.

Not exactly saying something and doing it is two different things.Take for instance Sonny with carly.He loves Carly ok,but not as intensley as Brenda.Carly has children with him.That's the only thing that kept them together.How many times has he left the mob for carly?None.With Carly he can do what he wants because she will put up with it,not BRENDA.

Sonny also felt responsible for Bren's situatons that's why he helped he said so. Just because he loved Brenda doesn't mean he hasn't loved anyone since .Yes a part of him that still loves her but if it was that undying you're my one and only love why doesn't he just go and get her. He knows where she is . My Grams always says that some people are in your life for a season and some for a life time , it takes a wise peson to know the difference. Sonny knew that and let Brenda go and moved on.

Sonny loved Carly because of the kids.When Brenda came back in 2002 He showed his true Colors.He was rescuing her on jets with no weapons .He was in her face every chance he got.If I had a man and he did all of that for another woman,please you wouldn't have to tell me twice!Sonny has and always will love Brenda to the Max!

You never love two people the same way, Sonny loved both Carly and Brenda but differently because the realtionship was different. I don't think that Lily wanted Sonny to love her like he did Brenda because in the end that love wasn't enough to keep them together, she wanted something special and unique but blew up before that could happen.

fisrt of all brenda had sonny first and she is good for calling brenda a slute what in the hell i want with a man that has no feeling for me and he really had feeling for lily after he found out the big cow lip's was pregnant with his child but he never loved lily like he loved brenda
