I like to imagine that Hobo with a Shotgun is another sequel to Batman Begins. Rutger Hauer gets fired in Batman Begins and then through a twist of fate ends up homeless. Without anything to live for he leaves Gotham and ends up becoming a vigilante just like batman. Of course minus the whole not killing people part.

I don't get it: How come when it comes to The Hobo, David Brunt plays him in the trailer, yet, Rutger Hauer plays him in the movie?

Also, David Brunt, who played The Hobo in the trailer, makes a cameo appearance as a bad cop in the movie, instead?

It's a fake trailer made for Tarantino/Rodriguez movie "Grindhouse". The real "Hobo with a Shotgun" was based on this trailer, that's why there are different actors.
