How to make a Telephone Cable - USOC RJ11 RJ45

http://www.discount-low-voltage.com Use the USOC color code to properly make yourself a Cat3 Phone cable! I give you step by step directions on how to do this.

Find out how many pairs your telephone line needs. If it's 1 pair, 2 pair, 3 pair or 4 pair the wiring stays the same. Just stick to the USOC pin out.

Most common for RJ11 plugs put some applications do call out for a 4 pair RJ45. So I also show you how to do that with a Cat5e cable.

Could I use one end of an Ethernet wire and make it into a telephone wire? So I can use the telephone side to put into the wall, but also to use the Ethernet side to plug into my Xbox 360.
