This is a brief explanation of how I got start doing door-to-door sales, also know as summer sales. I've done summer sales for 4 years now selling home security systems, also known as alarm sales. I love being able to earn the equivalent of a years salary in just a few months. I highly recommend summer sales as a summer job.   • I am looking for Summer Sales pros for summer 2012. I run an honest and honorable company, pay weekly and pay up to $650.00 per account sold. Send me a message if you are interested.

    Experienced and proven Sales staff will be in position to be Regional Managers very quickly.

  • All the people talking about door to door sales people are liers are the liers. I have been in door to door sales for 8 years, have a new house, stay at home wife, 2 new cars, and all this in a down economy. and best of all, I have never lied to a customer. If they want the product great, if not im not wasting my time trying to convence someone to get something they are not interested in,.

  • If you want to learn how to Lie to other people, and yourself at the same time. Learn how to sell with these companies. Ask recruiters to show a check stub of how much they made the summer before. It's rarely how much they say it was.

    "We're paying for the systems"...........LIE

    "You can cancel whenever you want." Not a LIE, but you have to pay 80% of the remainder of the contract.

    "We are here to give away 3 systems to this neighborhood. LIE, they'd give away to every house if they could.

  • Selling security is like selling your soul to the devil. I worked for two different companies this summer and although the companies (for the most) part treated me good and showered me with incentives, the only issue I had and that I could not fully see past was the whole lying part of it. The whole door approach is 99.9% BS. I don't know how the Pinnacle door approach is like but I'm sure it is a replica of the door approaches I have used.

  • IF your looking for which company is the best. They operate similar but pay scales, pay in for 10-99 and rentals are the biggest difference at this point.

  • Assertive yes. Dishonest? no. Only shitty sales ppl are dishonest. And dishonesty afflicts every area of life. BUT ppl here have the choice to say no. Read the contract while in the company of the alarm rep and afterword for three days, THREE DAYS before being legally committed.

  • You also have to be extremely high pressure or dishonest to make "soooo much money." Especially in an economy like we are experiencing now.

  • i do door to door sales and i make soooo much money. Its Ridiculous!!
