Fire Emblem 4 Playthrough: Intro

Uploaded as a bit of a test. This is the start of my first playthrough with commentary, Fire Emblem: Seisen no Keifu. This is more meant to be kind of walkthrough, where I talk about the unique gameplay elements of this game. Don't expect anything humourous.

Please DO NOT post any Rom/Emulator related questions. There are plenty internet sites for that. I will happily link you to translation patches, though.

Also, and I mean this strongly, ABSOLUTLY NO SPOILERS in comments. The ending of part 1 is one of the best moments in any game, IMO, and I want people to be surprised.

(My note: the 'Imperial Family' here refers to the Loptian Empire. Maira was a member of the Lopt Sect who fought for equality and to help those oppressed by their rule. Cigyun is his decendant, meaning most of the Loptian blood you see in the main storyline comes from his bloodline. He also formed his own 'branch' of the Lopt religion and although most of it's followers were excecuted after the empire fell, it survived, in a way, through Blaggi, one of the 12 crusaders whom Maira influenced)

It's also interesting to note that this game takes place in the same universe (but on a different continent) as Shadow Dragon. However, the events of this game occur about 1000 years before those of Shadow Dragon.

wait, how far into the game is it english, is it only the timeline that is still japanese?

That and the ending is all that's not translated. The timeline was always a problem, while for the ending there's just so many possible combinations that it was hard to keep track of them all. You can find script translations of them online if you search.

If I recall, the latest translation of the game actually translates that time line that scrolls down...
