  • I just Build them the guy playing is Scott McGill of Old Dog Mac. He plays H Town often

  • SCOTT MCGILL IS THE BEST GUITARIST IN THE WORLD BAR NONE!!!!!!!!! I've seen a few of the great guitarists take the stage with him and he always blows them away!! I've had the pleasure, honor and privilege to have known him and seen him play for over 30 years. YOU GO MCGILL!

  • I too am a life long fan/friend of Scott's and I am inclined to agree with you. That is why I built him the guitar.

  • @lbt1119 I'm 48, and also first saw Scott at the Foxy Lady when I was 16 (ahhh - the good 'ole fake ID days!). Quick math check suggests the odds are good we were in the club at the same time. I'm going to be back in B-Town tonight for TG; got invited by a good buddy to go see him at a little local venue. It's been ~28 years since I have seen him, and judging from this video, he's aging like a fine wine. I can't wait... : )

  • saw Scott a few times live, something to see, awesome

  • I used to see Scott back at the Foxy Lady in Beaumont at the height of the disco craze, 1978-1981. That room had fantastic acoustics, and the whole room would vibrate. You could sit 3 feet away from Scott and be blown away. I remember he used to play his originals too, one was called "Knock, Knocking" or such, and it was grand. For Scott to be rocking at 60?, wow, still, that's pretty cool. He inspired me a lot during my early guitar days. Keep on rocking dude !

  • I too am a longtime fan and acquaintance of Scott. He has blown me away so many times. A great act to see in any bar. I used to catch him every weekend at the Foxey Lady and a few years later at the Boulevard behind Phelan.

  • I agree with you 100%, I'm pushing 51.... was 18 yrs old when I first saw McGill at the Foxy Lady, seeing him LIVE then and now is awesome, absolutely the best, sitting there watching the master playing one of his guitars, especially this guitar WOW ........HE'S THE GREATEST!!! Grateful I've spent most of my life able to watch him play somewhere in Southeast Texas, specially the Lady!!! YOU GO MCGILL!!

  • I use to see him there too. He can play any song which always amazed me. I played in a few different bands back then. We opened for him a couple of times.

  • Another great Scott McGill!

  • My best memories are going to see Scott at Foxy Lady in Beaumont when I was just 15 years old. I am pushing 47 and still enjoy catching him live when I can. Keep on rocking Scott!
