Dreaming of a Life Without Fear

Malawi is one of the poorest countries in the world. Thanks to Plan's work in education, more children are able to attend school and achieve their dreams. However, for many children school is not always what they dreamt it would be.

Many schools in Malawi use corporal punishment to discipline children and bullying is widespread. Plan has started a project giving children the opportunity to speak out. Happiness and Sadness boxes have been installed in schools where children can post messages on issues that affect them.
