Paul Farber, of Oregon State University explores whether nature is a guide for human actions and if humans have an evolutionary ethic. Many biologists have been uneasy with seeking moral guidance from nature rather than from the more traditional disciplines that focus on ethics and morality. Professor Farber's talk is part of the New Visions of Nature, Science, and Religion initiative at UC Santa Barbara. Series: "New Visions" [1/2008] [Science] [Show ID: 13268]
