Sig Sauer SP2022 vs. Beretta 92fs (vs. M&P9c)

Mainly going over ergonomic differences between the Beretta 92fs and my new Sig Sauer Pro SP2022.

Trigger:
Sig seems to be a bit longer, but slightly lighter when in double action. Single action has to go to the Beretta, it's very crisp with little take-up.

Sights:
The factory night sights on the Sig are much better, and the Beretta sights seem like they were messed up (front sight drilled off-center)... but the Beretta has a longer sight radius.

Capacity:
Same... 15+1

Size:
Beretta is heavier and slightly bigger, but the Sig is polymer framed... not a fair comparison for weight, but for what they'll be used for, I'd say they're both pretty well built.

Sig - 25.2oz
Beretta - 34oz

Ergonomics:
The Beretta is a classic, and I really liked how far up you could choke on the grip in the beavertail area... but the Sig also felt very comfortable and it has interchangeable grips which can be ordered from Sig.

Summary:
I like the Sig better if used for a home defense weapon, off duty carry weapon, concealed carry weapon, and an open carry weapon (in states that allow it). The accessory rail and night sights makes it more adaptable to the home defense roll. If I were looking for a range gun, or a duty carry weapon, I'd go for the Beretta.

Do you regret trading off the M&P9 Compact? I was looking at one, but decided to buy a Taurus 809 Compact, Mainly because it has a hammer, decocker, and ambi mag release.

I am really liking the 809 compact, it's a keeper.

Great pistol, but haven't shot it yet??? I didn't care at all for the Kahr. It jammed several times and was not at all accurate compared to my G26. I'd gladly sacrifice clothing style and comfort for accuracy and skip the smaller Kahr.

@RTmiklo I liked it, but was only accurate with it about half the range trips... it's high bore axis and large slide release/takedown lever made it difficult for my hands to get a comfortable grip. I ended up trading it for another 9mm

Cracks me up everytime I see someone freak out and "clear" their weapon and show us it is clear like 5 times before going on. What do I care if YOUR weapon is clear? The round isn't coming my way.

Buyers remorse. Just get a FNX 9 (with ambi controls) and call it a day. It even comes with 3 17rd mags. And its in you're budget criterea

The grip on the m&p 9c its great that one of a few things that I really like about it very good gun.I don't think UT gets enough credit

I was told when you shoot a round you dont have to let go of the trigger completely. Just release it until you hear that clicking sound and you should be ready for another round.
