Accident number two for my commute this morning. This person spun and hit the guardrail on the southbound side. This snow seemed to catch everyone by surprise-- or maybe it was more slippery than usual? Please consider buying winter/ snow tires. I got mine mounted on steel rims and balanced with wheel covers from tirerack.com for under $400. This is less than your deductible for collision! If it saves you from an accident, it pays for itself! You will not believe the difference between snows and so-called all-season tires. It's is like night and day when driving in the snow.
