  • @Seeker152 This is the conversation between that Saint and the singer:

    Saint :Hari,Hari

    Singer:How gifted I am

Saint:I have come to your house as a Guest why dont you welcome me?

Singer:Its not my house its to your house you have come

Saint:Why you talk to me like this ?Who you think I am?

Singer:Wont I recognize the one who is being the light of the lights, wonderful of the wonderful things, atom of all the atoms ,who is in all the places who has no limits my Lord Krishna?

  • Can someone please translate the Conversation at 1:40? Thanks!

  • A great singer, Growing damn stronger, Due to one murder, His life became harder, That voice stopped, His career flopped, O- God- What a tragedy, Died permanently melody. mvvenkataraman

  • What a wonder.... sound of pure grace, devotion and passion. I fell in love with this song. This is INDIA.

  • @tvsatellitedirect True, I too found the other song and felt the same. The composing, tone and Thyagaraja Bhagavathar's voice are totally bringing the feel. Just look at his face, it shows the real bliss like seeing God face to face. This life is missing in the other one. No offense to the other song, actor or music. It's just what I too feel.

  • @welsjapan

Don't say that mate. He was a great actor cum snger. Let's give credit where it's due.

  • I have just a while ago heard the similar song sung by Ghantasala in Telugu but true to Bharathiar's words (yaam arindha mozhigalilayae thamizh mozhiyai pol inidhengum kaanum) that song couldn't come anywhere near this Thamizh classic in sweetness.

Bharathiaar can't be wrong in many an instance and this is one such.

  • excellent song
