@msminnamouse yes; what an idiot.He's a "self-taught" dog psychologist; need I say more?All his insight comes from working on his grandfather's(who he observed to be the pack leader) farm in Mexico. He crossed the border illegally when he was 21, worked in a grooming store, been sued several times and all the behavioral experts and animal societies have strongly criticize him. In 2006 the American Humane Society asked National Geographic channel to stop airing the Dog Whisperer.

@zwergie4444 Most people go with the first dog trainer they see in the phone book, or the one with the most/biggest ads. Those are the people who don't know better. But his fans who do know better, they LOVE this guy because his advice encourages people to take out their control issues and their OWN aggression on their defenseless dogs. He's all about the money, did you see his Denny's ad?

@msminnamouse what is most disconcerting is that judging from majority of the comments posted people are just in love with this guy; doesn't dawn on anybody that he's just a guy who's carved out a nice, lucrative niche for himself. He's made a ton of money by having a "reality show", staged like the rest of them, edited to make it look like something which is nowhere near reality. He's raking in the dough with no qualifications. People should do their research.

God forbid he could have made the dog feel comfortable in his environment by making it a rewarding and positive place instead of utilizing his one trick pony for fear called flooding. If the dog is fearful, then he's going to dominate the fear out of the dog. Genius!

@LeoTheHood there is a lot of groupthink going on here; everyone acts like this Ceasar Millan is the messiah. People get immediately aggressive the moment anyone says anything against this media darling. In a documentary on the animals left behind during Katrina, the rescuers had a couple of nasty things to say about Milan also. I have never seen him training an animal with positive re-enforcement, only negative. Half the time he's babbling like he's a shaman. Thanks for the quote
