Probably because the Bible says God is a He. It also says that we were created in his image... Hmm go figure that one out.

Why would anyone say god is a he? A mystical omnipotent creator should be a she. Any anthropomorphic god is but a psychological tool using transference and association to give power and a weird credibility to the most greedy ruthless warmongers on the planet. They use their god to convince their subjects kill in his name gaining turf from the people who believe in your god. Please join me in a collective cooperative effort for the good of all humans within nature the true higher power.
