  • He said new strict fuel emission rules. What is that and when does it go into effect?

  • yea well they want diesel to be higher than gasoline that way there isnt as much demand for diesels

  • @jonesd5o Yeah and the sad thing is that for was going to make a diesel for there half ton but the diesel prices went up, and the project was postponed if not scrapped altogether

  • i like what ford is doing with the gas turds but they know as well as some of the better informed as this is were all this technology comes from that diesel is king basically all they are doin is frankenstiening a gas turd to be more like a diesel it would serve the american people alot to reserch diesel power and bring more to the table as far as diesel goes GM is the reason mosty american consumers frown on diesel yet the public let the governement save that bs company this is rather upsetting

  • Why engineers don't get laid. Awesome V6!

  • it's not exactly "new" technology, and ford is far from the only company delving into it.

  • what a joke pumping up a 4 cylinder with twin turbs for a car weighing 1700kg ...dumb concept this weaver guy is a dork should concetrate on small sixes with dod and direct injection not fours discrace

  • Yep DFI will take over

  • Ecoboost will take Ford to number 1 due to it's AFFORDABLE TECHNOLOGY. The F150 will go from 13/18 with the current 5.4L Triton V8 @320HP & 390 ft lbs. of torque to 16/23 with the

3.5L Turbo V6 Ecoboost @ 340HP, & 340 ft lbs of torque. Oh, and the Ecoboost is less than $1,000 more costly than a conventional V-8 to build.

  • Yes, Ford Yes! I know you can't do much about the lemon/money pit F150 I have but I like this strategy of your's.
