@akspartan92 I think you are wrong, How come that you think it is his soul ? He tries to keep his soul inside and only let's it out at night? That does not make sense. I think he talks about his sadness. The last line tells us something about that Bluebird in his heart,It can make im cry and he tries with Wiskey to shut it's mouth. Bukowski had a problem with alcohol a long time. By the way, really good poem's let enough space for the own thoughts, you can't say that anything there is obvious!
