Huracanes y su función reguladora

Además de los conocidos daños a nuestra sociedad y otros aspectos negativos se presenta una muestra de como estos sistemas regulan la temperatura superficial del mar haciendo descender drásticamente la misma y que como consecuencia inmediata es la menor probabilidad de formación de otro huracán sobre un recorrido similar.
Este efecto no siempre tarda lo mismo puesto que depende de otras condiciones pero se sabe que se origina por un efecto de succión del centro de baja presión del sistema que hace subir el agua fría del fondo marino; suspensión de gotas frías y su cubierta de nubes influyen también.
Cerca del centro el descenso es de hasta 4 ó 5 ºC llegando a influir en miles de kilómetros a la redonda bajando aprox. 1ºC.,
de esta forma cumplen su función en la naturaleza.
