TimeLine provides you with twelve different delay machines, each with extensive control over sonic character and feel. Crush some bits with the Lo-Fi delay machine. Adjust Bit Depth and Sample Rate while blending the results with the full resolution signal. Select from several hand crafted lo-fi Filters, spanning transistor radios, telephones, phonographic horns, and other "collectibles". Top it off with our exclusive dVinyl record noise, adding a scratchy record complete with dust and dirt.

Be sure to watch all of the delay machine videos: Digital, Dual, Pattern, Reverse, Ice, Duck, Swell, Trem, Filter, Lo-Fi, dTape, and dBucket. For more info, please visit http://strymon.net/timeline

Sounds performed by Strymon's marketing guy Ethan Tufts (AKA State Shirt http://stateshirt.com) and DSP engineer Pete Celi.

  • What amps did you run this pedal into? AC30's?

  • @FORMADMENONLY06 then , timeline is for me :)

  • @polcito2011 Maybe A>D D>A is better on the time factor but I just don't care, I just need a great delay cuz I'm totally fond of that bloody effect !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

  • @polcito2011 I got a timefactor since January 2011 now, "she" is wonderful and I was so pleased to get such a great pedal, but I can assure you, of all types of effect the TF and the TL have in common, the timeline is incontestably better... It's far more polyvalent and adjustable! just check and compare both videos... the tape, lofi, reverse, bucket and ice (which timefactor doesn't have!) are absolutely brilliant... can't wait to buy my own !!!

  • this pedal is... outstanding!!!!!!!!!!!! and I got a timefactor... but I simply want to barf on it now... :D looking forward to buy my own timeline...

  • the 750 hz setting almost killed me it sounded so good.

  • @polcito2011 Different, I love the always available twin delay+freeze feature of the Eventide, but if you don't need those 2 things, this is probably more versatile (it's a better Looper and also has Pitchshifter capabilities).

  • Does anyone know if the riff being played for the first 1/3rd of the clip is from a song?

  • @fendertwin777 I thought the converter things were good... so you reccomend eventide instead of this? :S

  • After spending a boatload of time w/ this unit..., I decided to sell it, as it was stripping my tone, yielding me a shill component that I do not want in my sound..

The answers lies in kissing A>D and D>A converters goodbye forever.

No matter what they say, the conversion wipes out your overtones.
