A beginner's guide to the final normal mode encounter in Ulduar, Yogg-Saron.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

In phase 2 there will be a total of 10 portals. Three spawn to the West, three to the East, Three to the North and one south.

There should be more than 10 people assigned to portals in case someone is constricted right as they spawn or they get feared.

The portal group should consist of only melee and 1 healer. Having a hunter for Aspect of the Cheetah is a great idea.

Heroism/Bloodlust should be used in phase 2 and 3. The brain room should get heroism/bloodlust first on, usually the first portal. The upstairs should save theirs for when they really need it (if they never do, then save it).
Chances are that if you blow Heroism/Bloodlust right away in the Brain Room and upstairs the Exhaustion debuff will be gone sometime in phase 3.

In phase 2, in case you didn't notice, Yogg-Saron has a protective barrier around him. The only way to damage him is through the brain.

In phase 3, Yogg-Saron does not have to be tanked because he has no aggro table.

Algalon? I wouldn't expect a guide for him in the near future. My guild is currently starting on hard modes in Ulduar, with Thorim as the the only Keeper we're trying hard mode for.

Nice work in downing Yogg-Saron, my guild stills needs to get down there, but I think between this video and the Tankspot one we may be more prepared for it though there is alot to look out for in the encounter.
