From the Puma archive in 1971, this was originally the leather answer to the Clyde, but the distinctive look combined with the clean and simple design gave this shoe instant entry into the sneaker hall of fame. Completely engineered for today's lifestyle, the Basket II has a soft and supple leather upper in 2 classic colorways.
around 1970 i was in HS and this one kid was kind of rich and he had just gotten a pair of 'puma baskets' he was cool cause he let me borrow them for a couple of periods a day. People were amazed by them back then, leather basketball shoes? it just wasnt so common in those days.
