  • Thanks very much for uploading this! I only saw pics of her in my childhood and understood from the articles that she travelled and won all around the world and was very popular. Her fate was the Prix d'Amérique in Paris. She deserved to win that great race at least once .... but she never did. And she died far too young.

  • she was some race mare. for her day. those days were some days for racing.

  • best trotter ever

  • Wonderful clip! Sends chills down the back...... Thks for posting.

  • I still got a newspaper picture of this horse, it is a horse I will never forget!

  • What ever happened to her? Or her foals?

  • What a great piece of video; thanks for posting! Thoroughbred fans should know that this mare was on a level of greatness akin to Allez France, All Along or Ouija Board. Au revoir to Une De Mai and to Roosevelt Raceway, two of the all-time greats. Barry Goldstein and Bill Hopkins - may your lives be filled with torment and pain and sorrow and bad health, I spit on you!

P.S.--They should have bred her to Speedy Crown and then she could have produced the champion that they were hoping for!
