Nasty baseball Collision for last out of game at shortstop

My boy is a good size 10 year old boy and had the bead on the ball at shortstop for the last out, but he got the out with a big interference slam from the kid leaving 2nd base and smashing head to head of the bill of the helmet. The kid ended up knocking himself out hard and my boy at shortstop ended up the first one up. A little dizzy, but didn't even cry. It sucked because we ended up in the hospital till 2:30 am for them to say he was fine, no damage.

It's Runner Interference Because The Runner Can't Get In The Way Of Them Fielding The Ball. If The Ball Was Really Hit Like That The Runner Should Have Been Well Past The 2nd Baseman.
