@chad8329 I guess you are liitle bit right but different manufacturers use only front airbags in case of front impact.

Side airbags and curtains should not deploy in frontal impact. They won't do any good and if other car comes at you from the side (right after you crashed) they will be already used and won't protect you. GM saving puting one sensor 4 all?

Looks like this car is just as safe as Volvo XC90, but i have read GMC Acadia had a issue with the airbag sensors, In worst case the airbags don`t go off in crash and that is scary. I want a XC90 or a Acadia but i am not sure anymore...
