I became more and more curious about OBE after watching 'The Ghost Hound'. Then last night, I felt myself or rather my 'consciousness' detaching from my body. The weird and frightening thing is my 'consciousness' jumped right back immediately into my body because I was hearing buzzing sound and I was feeling electric tingling while detaching. Is my case an OBE? or is my mind playing tricks on me?

There are strange amounts of coincidences seen between psychedelic drugs (LSD, Shrooms, DMT, Mescaline, Ketamine, etc.) and spiritual phenomenons such as OBE's and NDE's. For example, the overall feeling of "oneness" in most psychedelic trips is described in a lot of NDE's and some OBE's that have been reported. Idk. I think its all related somehow. Ideas?

@jpgleiden if you think that obe is bullshit that it shows that you don't believe on God and soul, soul does exist otherwise it means that people hullucinate when they see spirits of their deceased relatives. spirt makes us different from other animals. we do have a soul.

@Bedeekin Is that why when you're having a bad dream, you usually wake up lying on your back?
-
@Bedeekin damn it why'd you tell me that? Im already scared enough of sleeping alone at night as it is! lol
-
@frozengrudge You definitely had an obe your conscious body or astral body jumped back in because you were scared and or unready for this experience.

@Bedeekin Yo but I do agree with this. That is really amazing, and very scary. I remember times, as a child, when I would open my eyes and see a figure inches above my head, staring back at me. Usually all white, in white robes..or grey material figure, otherworldly figure. Weird memories from younger years..too many to let go, to just accept as inventions of imagination. But yet...so shaded in the veil of the past, or rather the veil from the future. How do we integrate crazy mental experiences

Hey uploader, right now, while watching this video, I am killing myself. That's right, the EMFs being emitted by my old, slow laptop are probably three times as powerful and environmentally unfriendly as newer laptops. So basically, while trying to expand my mind, I end up watching videos I sort of remember, getting my brain poisoned by the radiation, and fluoride in the water I am drinking..., and I still can't "activate the pineal gland". I feel worthless and can't stand where I have grown up.

@jpgleiden then why does everyone have that same experience
a friend of mine told he was flying above his body while sleeping and saw his body sleeping from above, then there was a light tunnel, but later felt back in his body. he said it was real. i think its a dream and real oobe is bullshit...

@jpgleiden Do you? Then you are absolutely entitled to your own uninformed and non-experienced based opinion.

i have sleep paralysis and you know what annoys me .. is when people try and put you down n say ur nuts and say stuff like " we all have nightmares, you are just overreacting" n how do i have an obe lol i cn never do it :P

The thing is, a 'nightmare' is actually sleep paralysis... the night mare... aka the mare who comes in the night... 'mare' was old english for 'witch'... in folklore people used to think that she would come into the room while one was sleeping and sit on the chest... bad dreams are just bad dreams. They don't have any idea unless they've had one.
anyway...

I used to experience sleep paralysis. It terrified me. My family thought I was bonkers and had no idea what I was talking about. They thought it was just a recurring "bad dream". (This was years ago). I read an article at the Daily Mail a couple of weeks ago which described peoples' experiences with S.P. .... and there are many in the comments section who described their theirs. If you like I can email you the link.
