How can you have compiz working with E17. I cant seem to find the way to do so.

Is it Ubuntu? I thought Ubuntu has only Gnome desktop. Can you change the graphical interface, or there is an Ubuntu E17 version? Sorry for asking that but i'm a beginner in linux world. By the way, amazing visual effects, and wallpaper!
