i never get tired of listenning to him, the most technically superb tenor i have heard since pavarotti despite the difference in voice and repertoir. definately the best colouratura tenor i have heard tonewise altho i do love blake alot also.

There are so few black male singers in opera. Soprano Leontyne Price forever knocked down the barrier that limited black female singers. I hope the door will be blown wide open for talented men of color like Mr. Brownlee to grace and enrich operatic music with their talent. Thank you for the postings

I grew up with Larry in Youngstown, Ohio.
His entire family are awesome singers. We went to Church together. I enjoy hearing him and his family sing almost every Sunday. The more they sang the more people requested them to sing. God Bless You Larry,
