@Patriot1862 AMEN & AMEN unfortunately John Cipollina is over looked/unrated as a guitarist. To me Quicksilver was a band that way ahead of it's time, and is in the top ten bands of the 1960's.FM was in it's infancy, and the music by Quicksilver was not mainstream music aka bubblegum pop, so no air play on a.m. radio.

@fluffythecat2 Michael Shrieve was 19 at the time.

Look at the album cover and how great it still looks. What a great time the 60s were we will never again experience the great album art of the 60s. When you bought a album you bought a piece of art which we would all admire and stare at for hours loaded on weed while we listened to the album.....LOL

Check out the half time show at Super Bowl 2010

LOL ya got me. Well, QMS is a great start and you have a lot of fun ahead of you as you take in great music. QMS is one of the best. Not many like them. Can't think of any band like them. Check out Santana at Woodstock the song is Soul Sacrifice astounding music and drum solo u will dig it if u get to the west coast lemme know

Ah, I'm not too familiar with the Who, but I am really into Quiksilver right now.

This should have been high up on the list of best rock albums of all time - its got it all, great lead riffs, beautiful chords, smooth clear bass, powerful lyrics, yet a very unique & distinct sound all it's own.(way too many groups all sound the same) what an album! Not to mention the artwork.
