If this country ever needed unions it's now as our structure is going deeper and deeper into fascism everyday.The downturn of wages and benefits is directly related to workers turning away from union protection.There is a 30 year decline in the standard of living being carried on the backbones of the american workers.It's time to reverse the process.Austerity measures are going to be dropped into the laps of the very people who least deserve it. My father is one of those few, retired operating engineer that busted his hump for 40yrs. He can retire because of HIS UNION. Operating engineers of Seattle locals 601/302. They provided our insurance growing up, and security to a VERY hard working man who had only himself to lean on.
